Hi! I’m John Cawley and I’ve been in the masonry business for over twenty years. Wow where did the time go? I‘ve been very successful in the masonry business, and thought that giving back to people could only bring me more good karma.

My site will be geared toward the homeowner but can be helpful for a young person who maybe is interested in a masonry career and is looking for a few tips.

Inside you’ll find brick issues that we’ve come across and how we solved them. We’ll explore design ideas when it comes to patios. Different types of stone paths and walkways will be discussed. There is so much that I’ll be able to help people with when it comes to their masonry projects. I’ve seen almost every issue that you could dream up and found ways to resolve them. Every job is important no matter what the size.

For the really daring types out there we’ll be talking about stone retaining walls. We’ll show you the basics of building a stone retaining wall and the tricks about repairing them. I know brick, stone, concrete, waterproofing, stucco, and flagstone all seem very exciting to you but not as fun as all the great and not so great people that I’ve come across in my twenty years out in the field.
